The historic Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego, CA showcases the pulse of the artistic community. Every venue has their signature look with multiple galleries and local spots vying for patronage and visibility.

Hotel Z sought a way to stand out from the crowd in their own unique way and we had a fitting solution in mind.

The visual experience on top of Hotel Z is visible for blocks in all directions.

Pedestrians walking by, bicycles cruising through, and rooftop bars chilling in the evening all get a great view of the show.

To stand out it is essential to be bright, vibrant, and highly visible. More than just being seen the character of the content is crucial. With many scenes riffing off of the architecture, colors, and culture the whole ensemble says Hotel Z - creative and hip place to stay in the best district of San Diego.

Inspiration for the visual content was provided by the local pastel colors, beaches, and palm fronds.

Being a full production studio we take pride in the creation of the artistic video content to be projected. To ensure the content was exactly what the client was looking for we utilize an iterative process.

First, we listen and learn from the marketing team while researching their brand identity.

Next, we prepare example videos based on this research. We send these to their team and they select the top 10. We then use these 10 to seed the next round of renders.

After 3 rounds we were all loving the results and had explored lots of options quickly with a clear decision tree along the way.
