Kohler aimed to elevate their booth to new heights for the 62nd annual Salone del Mobile design exposition in Milan, Italy.

Working with the lofted dome above the central seating area NOVA Light Labs saw a sincere potential to define the space with immersive dome projection mapping for the 100,000+ visitors over a full week.

To create convincing and physically accurate fluid visuals is a creative challenge.

Fortunately NOVA Light Labs is well versed in physics based fluid simulations for use in projection mapping projects.

The final effect was mesmerizing as digital drops of water fell through the center of the dome as if the viewer was standing in one of the brand’s signature showers.
