LICENSE TERMS
How licensing works for every show and scene in the Library.
Every show and scene is licensed on a non-exclusive basis, for a single venue and a defined event or run. The same terms apply whether you license a full show or an individual scene.
What a license covers
A standard license covers a three day window at one venue. One week and one month terms are available for longer engagements. Each venue and each run is its own license, so a piece running at two locations, or at the same location across separate events, is licensed separately.
What you can do with it
A license grants the right to display the work at the licensed venue for the licensed term. It does not grant the right to resell, sublicense, redistribute, or share the files with any third party. The work remains the property of NOVA Light Labs at all times.
Formats and delivery
Each license is delivered as a finished digital file in the format suited to your space, whether that is a dome master, a flat screen render, or a source master for venues that map content to their own geometry. Delivery format, resolution, and specifications are confirmed as part of each agreement.
The agreement
Every license is handled with a clear, single page agreement that secures all rights, delivery terms, and dates in writing before anything ships. A deposit is due on signature, with the balance due on delivery.
