ODESZA launched Summer's Gone, the duo's debut album, with a September 2012 release show at the Wild Buffalo in Bellingham, Washington. The debut called for light. NOVA Light Labs mapped custom visuals across stretch fabric canvas suspended above the stage.

The rig stayed simple. Projected color moved across the fabric all night, keeping the stage vivid from the first track to the last. That show opened a working relationship that carried into later ODESZA events such as Summer Meltdown, Bumbershoot, and more.
