Boys & Girls Club
Stars Gala
NOVA Light Labs transformed the Westin Kierland ballroom into a massive canvas of legendary light.
For the 2026 Today's Kids, Tomorrow's Stars, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley wanted their Western themed gala to outshine every event before it.
NOVA answered with projection mapping across the entire room, and the night went on to raise a record breaking sum for youth programs throughout the Valley.
experience
The projection mapping spanned the entire ballroom, wrapping 800 guests in a full horizon of visuals.
The pipe and drape walls dissolved, and in their place opened ultra wide desert vistas cued to exact moments in the show.
At the VIP table, a signature immersive dinner projection brought the surface itself to life beneath every course.
the art
Every scene earned its own treatment, tuned to the look and feel of the brand and the night.
The first move was defining the full 400 foot canvas, every wall accounted for, building to a 16K environment.
Each scene was brainstormed and built in full 3D so elements could travel cleanly from one wall to the next.
The result carried the room. Thousands of names swirled overhead, aerial drone footage revealed the storied ranch, and gold coins erupted with every item sold.
system
Activating a space this large took an enormous volume of light.
NOVA delivered pixel perfect mapping across the ballroom with 14 high lumen projectors.
A custom media server drove the 16K content across every surface, holding each scene transition under full control.
