NOVA Light Labs designed custom summer visuals for Idle Hands, an immersive cocktail bar in Phoenix, Arizona.
Summer came to Idle Hands (now known as The Green Room). The projected world behind the bar turns with the seasons, and NOVA was commissioned to bring the heat: vapor wave, synth chords, sunglasses at night, and neon palm trees.
The answer is an eternal glow of the summer heat. The view drifts forward through undulating illuminated landscapes, crystalline cacti, streaks of light, and a sunset fade that makes Miami blush.

A 3 minute drift through a surreal summer evening, projection mapped across a dual projector ultrawide canvas.
The perspective follows a class Ferrari Testarossa as it cruises through a landscape of forms familiar to the sunset rose and cactus glow.
Hues only found in heat, motion as slow as an August night, yet still on the move, to the beat, seeking a desert oasis to cool thine thirst.
The perfect and seamless loop keeps the look steady yet flowing all night long.
