dome
Kaiser Permanente brought NOVA Light Labs to Denny Park in downtown Seattle for one night of event dome lighting design.
Kaiser Permanente wanted a holiday activation that read as special, not another white event tent. NOVA Light Labs answered with a geodesic dome raised in the middle of Denny Park, lit inside and out. Geometry made the space out of thin air.
For one December night the dome stood as its own small winter sky, laser points drifting across the canopy while glowing cubes marked the entrance. Families streamed in from the cold. The brand read exactly as intended: modern, warm, worth stopping for.
experience
Inside the dome, a DJ, hot cocoa, and a canopy of moving light turned a Seattle city park into an immersive experience for families.
Guests stepped through the arch into blue light. The cold stayed outside. A DJ played while kids circled hot cocoa and holiday activities beneath a geometric chandelier of TUBIX LED Bars suspended at the center of the canopy.
From the street the dome read as a glowing shell in the dark park, starlight moving across its panels, luminous CUBIX Cubes flanking the door. Phones came out for photos. A rented tent has never once done that.
