NOVA Light Labs mapped a holiday sing along across 3 stories of the Pacific Place atrium in downtown Seattle, Washington.
Pacific Place wanted the renovation hidden and its holiday tradition made bigger. Scaffolding stood in the center of the atrium. A printed banner would have covered it and done nothing else.
NOVA made the scaffold the screen. A 3 story projection mapping show ran daily from mid November to mid January, sing along at set times, sponsor content rotated in between. The construction disappeared. A luminous season stood in its place.

A sing along 3 floors tall drew crowds to the atrium rail every afternoon and evening.
Shoppers stopped at the rail. Guests gathered on every level and looked across at faces larger than the storefronts, lyrics drifting down the wall. The chorus caught. Strangers sang.
Between shows the wall carried the season on its own, light moving over the Santa line and the decor below. Daylight poured through the skylight. The picture held anyway, and after dark the whole atrium turned toward it in plain amazement.

NOVA produced the full show: the holiday sequence, the sing along segments with lyrics timed to the audio, and a rotation of sponsor spots designed to live inside the same frame. Every piece was cut for the height.
The imagery was composed to the scaffold's proportions so the projection read as part of the building, not a screen hung inside it. Ads swapped as the client needed.

4 projectors at 22,000 lumens each, housed in enclosures that kept lenses and beams clear of the public. Brightness was specified for the skylight. The show held under midday sun and reached full saturation after dark, all day, every day, for 3 months.
NOVA designed the system, delivered the visuals, and ran remote monitoring with daily check ins, a practice pulled from its permanent installation playbook. A full range speaker system at the base of the screen carried the audio across the atrium.
